I worked for Paul for 23 years, from the store in the heights, two locations in Nob Hill Shopping Center, and the Central location. He was a man of the music and business times, from buying the first used CDs to be available for sale in a store in Albuquerque, to moving from pen and paper to computers and programs and using innovative ideas to improve the store. And one should know, he knew his music and his customers’ demands so well that his store succeeded despite the corporate competition. Plus, he was willing to share his effort with the employees so much so that three past employees are now running successful record stores.
